Good to know
Is this a legal digital signature?
SignDesk places your signature and stamp as images, the same as a scanned signature. That is accepted for most everyday documents such as letters, forms, quotations and invoices. It is not a certified digital signature.
Which files does it work with?
PDF, Word (.docx), Excel (.xlsx) and pictures. Older .doc and .xls files need to be saved as .docx or .xlsx first.
Do I have to download the document?
No. SignDesk opens the attachment straight from Gmail, and the finished file goes back into your reply. You only download if you want a copy on your computer.
Does it work on my phone?
Not yet. SignDesk is a Chrome extension for Gmail on a computer.
Do I need to create an account?
No. SignDesk uses the Gmail address you are signed in with. There is no extra password.
What happens when my trial or plan ends?
SignDesk asks you to choose a plan. Your saved signature, stamp and settings stay in your browser, ready for when you renew.
